Breast-feeding: Compatível.
Renal impairment: Reduzir a dose se a depuração da creatinina for inferior a 50 ml/min e manter a hidratação.
Hepatic impairment: Sem ajuste específico.
Common adverse reactions: Náuseas, cefaleia, erupção cutânea; confusão e neurotoxicidade na insuficiência renal.
Contraindications: Hipersensibilidade ao aciclovir ou ao valaciclovir.
